Summary

I have worked in the real estate industry my entire life. My family has been in the business since the early 1980's and I found a home in it while working with them. My experience in the industry covers everything from basic clerical assistance, office/company operations and residential sales. Being in a family owned and operated business that utilizes the benefits of RE/MAX allows me to give a personal touch on professional service. I recently was the Director for the HUD Division of RE/MAX CLASSIC with nearly 3,500 listings in South Eastern Michigan where we sold nearly 600 listings in approximately 11 months.

RE/MAX CLASSIC is the largest RE/MAX franchise in the state of Michigan with over 120 sales associates. RE/MAX CLASSIC has been one of the top 5 Residential Brokers in the state for a number of years (Crain's '09).

Specifically my team and I work with buyers and sellers, both as owner occupants and investors to purchase and sell homes in South Eastern Michigan. To help us service our clients and customers in this changing and challenging market I have recently obtained the Certified Distressed Property Expert designation (CDPE).

As the Director of the REO Division of RE/MAX CLASSIC I work closely with banks such as Bank of America, Chase, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac along with asset managers like First Preston and National REO to manage the listing and sale of their properties along with coordinating BPO's, contractors bids, trash outs and utilities.

I work closely with Network Home Improvements and Frisco Construction to coordinate rehab of properties including, paint, carpet, board ups, plumbing, electrical, major structural repairs. Great groups to work with. Timely in getting bids done and jobs completed. They are also familiar with how payment works in doing these types of jobs for banks and asset management companies.

Along with the contractors I obtained bids and coordinated landscaping jobs with Shia's Landscaping when lawns needed to be cut and that snow needed to be removed from properties.

As Director of The RE/MAX CLASSIC HUD Division I worked as the listing agent for nearly 4,000 government foreclosure. Along with duties of marketing the properties for sale I managed a team of 5 sales agents and 6 clerical staff that were all part of the HUD Division.

Our focus was getting properties sold and servicing the buyers interested in purchasing them. Our clients consisted of primary resident home buyers, single unit investors and bulk purchaser investors.

We also were on the forefront of forming relationships with the municipalities that the properties were located in to help them work with the blight that many of the HUD homes caused in their neighborhoods.

After some changes at the US Department of Housing and Urban Development in mid 2008 that changed our roll a listing broker, our team was excited with our results. We sold nearly 600 homes in just approximately 11 months.

Today we are still involved with selling HUD Foreclosed homes. Our roll today is directly focused on helping the purchaser whether it's a owner occupant, single unit investor or an investor looking to purchase in bulk.

My main responsibility was LAN and WAN operations between the main office and multiple branch locations. In addition I designed, implemented and trained other staff and sales agents on different technologies, both hardware and software used to conduct daily business.
